Field Service Representative
I. Reports to the District Manager
II. Position Summary
Provides daily in store service for Home Depot stores in Department 25 (hardware) in an assigned
district and reports the activity performed using an Reflexis handheld device.
III. Job Description
- Beacon in and out of assigned stores daily
- Call in an out of IVR Time Capture system daily
- Check voicemail 3 times daily for company communications
- Follow detailed work schedule that is sent out for daily required work
- Use handheld PDA to complete scheduled work and communicate all tasks performed each day
- Execute set integrity, MAP, CMAP, special projects and product knowledge classes as scheduled:
*Set Integrity: use of a plan-a-gram to ensure all products are merchandized in their proper locations, displays are in place (if required), point-of-purchase materials are in place (if required), all products are labeled and shelves are fully stocked
*MAP (Merchandise Action Plan): placement of promotional items in predetermined locations throughout a HD store
*CMAP (Cross Merchandising Action Plan): placement of regularly stocked items in predetermined selling areas
*Special Projects: merchant driven tasks that require execution monthly
*Product Knowledge: training orchestrated by service rep to educate HD personnel
- Sync Reflexis handheld device daily after work hours
- Communicate daily with assigned district manager on all activities
IV. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to take very specific directions and accomplish a task
- Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively through a voice mail system
- Well organized
- Ability to function in a multi-task environment
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams
- Must pass post offer, pre hire drug and background test
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have access to internet
